Inspired by the two rescued donkeys that live at Alpha Excelsior Farm in Rocklands, South Africa. They must have the most idyllic lives of any donkeys around, and I’m jealous. Each winter the area has the most spectacular flowers blooming, including orange asters.
This two-colour print was made by carving a linoleum block which was then inked and printed onto a warm white Fabriano paper, all by hand and all by the artist.
Print size is 8.5x11 inches/22×28 cm.
